There is historical basis for a 'flying carpet'. There was/is a tribe in South America that created and sailed small paper hot air ballons. There were depictions of black triangular, upside down pyramid type designs which some archaeologists thought might be hot air ballons, with the black coloring coming from not just dye but on the inside ash from a soot fire that seal the weave. Summary. This story takes place in A.D. , with Emperor Yuan of China inspecting his dominion. One morning, his servant enters his chambers and tells him that he has seen a miracle. The Emperor names numerous ordinary things - such as the color of the sea, the sweetness of the air, or the taste of his tea, as possible miracles that the servant is referring to, but the servant insists that it.

The Hopituh Shi-nu-mu (Hopi) people are one of the Native American tribes, descendants of the Ancient Pueblo people that lived in the South West Area of the US which today is called Four Corners (The cross between Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah). One of the groups of the Ancient Pueblo People was the mysterious Anasazi, the ‘Ancient Ones’ that flourished and disappeared.   Frankly, some of the books I found were pretty useless. But there were a few books that made a huge impact, and really helped me. Below is a list of my top fear of flying books. Even though these books use a number of different approaches, they all help you do one thing: Change the way you think and feel about flying.

When it comes to nautical-based ghost stories, few are more famous or well known than the Flying Dutchman. Made even more popular by the long-running Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants, the Flying Dutchman is a mysterious and horrifying apparition drifting endlessly along the seas just waiting to be observed by an unlucky sea-goer.. Deeply engrained in Dutch folklore and dozens of books.   Directed by William Joyce, Brandon Oldenburg. After a hurricane levels his city, a young man wanders into a mysterious library where books literally come to life.
